Seasons are a changing.....

Fall is in the air, winter is around the corner.  I haven't been posting because all of my free time is dedicated to the cabin project.  During the week I spend a few minutes each evening composing material lists after the baby is asleep.  Friday afternoon I race to home depot and rush to gather materials, Saturday and Sunday I beat my brains out.  The goal is near I just hope the pleasant weather holds on awhile longer.

It's a real challenge to deal with comments from my family and properly ignore the project during my hectic work days.  I new level of stress has been achieved; helped along by a trusty carpenter who says "oh yeah brother we'll figure it out," in response to my inquiries about having proper hardware on site.  It's about a 3 hour round trip to town and back.  I'm not willing to do that for $8 worth of lag bolts.

Meanwhile further into the mountains baby snowmen have already been sighted.....soon mother nature will let loose and the snow will fly.  Go Pro HD cameras will begin to film a new season of ski highlights set to some relic song by Queen.  Skiing is easy.....people should try to build something.
